About Us
It all started with a kid...

My daughter, that is.  When she was ready to join 4-H and pick her animal project, goats seemed a lot more manageable that cattle.
Company history
Our first goat was a La Mancha named Tootie.  I couldn't believe I had to pay $100 for a stupid goat that didn't even have any ears...but our friends said our new foal needed a companion.  Plus, we could milk her to feed the foal to save money on the milk replacer...that was in 1987...

It turns out that Tootie was a lifesaver.  Not only did she adopt that foal as her own, but she even stood on the gate so the filly could nurse!

We've never been without a goat on the farm since!

Word to the wise......it's not always a good thing to have a 1200 pound horse think she's a goat.  If you think its amazing how your goat can find a way to get out of the fence, just imagine!
Our Appreciation

Most of us did not get where we are today without the influence of others.  We'd like to take this area to acknowledge some people very important to our success.

Jim Conlan of HISFARM, Berryville, Virginia
Jim is the man that sold us Tootie, and who has influenced us most in our goat farming.  Many of my animals would not be alive without his expertise and intuition.  I know I can always count on him to set us straight.  He has dairy goats, but convinced me from day one that no matter what breed of goat you have, the foundation should always be good confirmation, healthy vigor, and high expectations.

We purchased our first full-blood boers from Troy Powell, of Little League Ranch in Texas.  Mr Powell gave us a great opportunity by selling our potential future herdsires in 2007.  We would like to add some color to our herd, and we are very excited to own some of the black genetics of Little League Ranch.

Hannah Huff & Amy Austin of Little League Too for making the road trip & helping in the selection of our full-bloods.
